Eurocoustic invites you to a total immersion in the Genouillac factory. Rockwool production, innovation and logistics, visit the site where our employees are constantly working to meet customers' needs in complete safety!
The plant employs 170 people who work every day to manufacture quality insulation products. One of the main objectives is to reduce the environmental impact of this manufacturing process. They all work together for the planet, the well-being of everyone and the satisfaction of our customers.
The plant has two production lines fed by two cupola furnaces, which can supply around 80,000 tonnes of stone wool insulation products.
This stone wool is used for industrial roof insulation, the sprayed wool market and external insulation.
The plant produces over 8 million square metres of acoustic ceiling tiles a year. The tiles are produced in a range of colours and sizes.
At Eurocoustic, very rigorous control plans are applied to ensure that the certified parameters of our products comply with customer expectations. Several quality points are checked, such as reaction to fire, fire resistance and sound absorption.
Eurocoustic is committed to following very strong environmental guidelines to ensure that our activities have a minimum impact on the environment. For example, the plant consumes 7 million cubic metres of water a year, but uses only 45,000 cubic metres thanks to a closed water circuit and the recycling of process water.
Over 98% of waste is recycled. A large proportion of waste is reused after processing, either by re-injecting it into the cupola or as a substitute for a new raw material.
