What is BIM?
BIM - or Building Information Modeling - is primarily a new collaborative working method for all those within the construction industry.
BIM groups in a digital space all of the physical and functional characteristics of a project. It also allows a construction project to be modeled dynamically throughout the building’s life cycle, from design to renovation or demolition, as well as the entire operating phase.

AN EXAMPLE OF THE ASSISTANCE THAT WE CAN PROVIDE: AJACCIO HOSPITAL
Eurocoustic fitted out 2,100 hospital rooms with 24,000 m² of acoustic ceilings by incorporating them directly into the 3D digital model that had been produced to manage the hospital's complete lifecycle.
Our BIM team worked on Ajaccio Hospital, the first 100% BIM project in Europe. The 3D layout for the ceilings was created directly in the BIM digital model.
This large-scale project has enabled us to demonstrate our ability to support contractors in the layout of ceilings directly in the 3D BIM model, then in the production of 2D working drawings and the calculation of precise quantities for each system component (slabs, hangers, bearers, spacers, angles).
The digital layout has enabled us to provide a personalized response to the project owners and optimize collaboration between all those involved in the construction, and will guarantee efficient management of the hospital's operation and maintenance, accompanying the building throughout its entire life cycle.
